Alex Andrus - Senior Patent Counsel

Max is a partner at VHPM. Before joining the firm in 2023, Max was Vice President of Intellectual Property at Lexicon Pharmaceuticals, where he formulated and implemented patent, trademark, and life-cycle management strategies for Lexicon’s platform technologies, antibodies, antibody conjugates, and small molecule drug candidates. Before Lexicon, Max litigated and prosecuted patents for a variety of clients in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. When not at work, Max enjoys spending time with his family, playing guitar, and running.
